clara is an illustrator and concept artist who is self-taught in painting. having fallen in love with the red shoes, clara embarked on a journey to become a concept illustrator at the age of 23. she believes in the value of negative space that a character creates. she greatly believes that all negative space exists within context, and it is the job of the art department as well as herself to create the context so that the characters and narratives can peacefully exist in any story.

 

Recently, she has illustrated for Universal Studios Hollywood and Walt Disney Imagineering and has been selected to participate in the Production Design Initiative organized by the Local 800 Art Directors Guild.​
